Hi, I’m Prophet, your little dog influencer in training and the official voice of the Scruffy Sisters. Here I share expert advice about photography, adventures, and the many things humans misunderstand. Grandma supplies the photographic evidence.
Grandma claims that she once owned 250 Icelandic horses.
Two hundred and fifty.
Supposedly, they roamed as free as birds on a thousand-acre ranch beside Highway 101.
She also claims that a Corgi named Bucky was allowed to run free and chase them.
According to Grandma, Bucky lived to be seventeen.
Seventeen?
Just like everything else in this story, it sounds like a gross exaggeration.
The photograph above proves that there was a Corgi, maybe.
It does not prove how old he was—or that there were 250 horses.
And if Bucky was allowed to run free, why do Rory and I have to wear leashes?
We will discuss that obvious injustice later.
Rory believes Grandma. Rory will believe almost anything if it is stated with enough confidence.
I am not so easily influenced.
Grandma says she has photographs of the horses. But Grandma is a photographer. Making things look believable is practically her job description.
Especially with AI.
I asked why we had never seen these horses. She said it all happened long before our time and that she retired from the horse business in 2003.
2003?
Was there even a world back then?
Grandma says there was.
She would.
Convenient.
I am not accusing Grandma of lying. That would be rude.
I merely believe there may be an organized attempt to make Rory and me accept a story that has never been properly investigated.
The investigation has begun.
